Function Band Lead Singer (Guitarist/Bassist)

One of the clients that we represent are looking for a replacement frontman for their established professional function band with a busy calendar for 2021 and 2022 Gigs are primarily made up of weddings, parties and corporate functions with approx 8 international show per annum.. Applicants will be asked to submit a video showreel of themselves performing and if selected, will be required for a video interview with a member of our team. From then, you may be asked to attend a rehearsal session to perform a small selection of songs which you will be given sufficient notice to prepare.

Key Requirements:

Applicants must:

– Be able to provide your own instruments and backline

– Be a competent and enthusiastic musician with some experience of live performance

– Be a confident vocalist who can also play guitar OR bass guitar to a good standard

– Show good understanding of how to front a function band e.g. engaging with an audience, good charisma, showmanship

– Have an appreciation for a wide variety of musical genres, but particularly party/dance floor favourites

– Be a hard-working, committed and professional who enjoys working with others

Role Information

.Fee: Annual retainer, plus minimum £180 per show

Coverage; UK, Dubai, Greece.

Beat The Drum (The Runrig Experience) - Bass Player & Guitarist Vacancies

‘Beat The Drum – The Runrig Experience’ are recruiting a bass player and guitarist to be permanent members of their new Runrig Tribute band. The role will require some rehearsal (location TBC, expenses paid) and paid on a ‘per gig’ basis, a minimum fee of £180.

The project is launching in 2020 with a view to beginning performing in 2021 and will be playing primarily theatre and festival shows in the UK and Europe.

 

 Key requirements

-All applicants should be professional standard musicians and have their own professional standard equipment (instruments and backline).

-Ideally candidates should have a love or appreciation of Runrig’s music and an existing knowledge of their catalogue of songs.

-Physical appearance similar to the band members is not a factor.

-A huge bonus would be a basic understanding or ability and willingness to speak or sing in Gaelic. That, or a willingness to learn to do so.

-The ability to function as part of a team, offering creative ideas but also responding to direction both in terms of musicality and performance, from the band’s musical and creative directors.
